< h2> Anxiousness and fear has stirred in the Indian community after the body of  32 year old  Dr Preethi Reddy, who mysteriously disappeared on March1, 2019 evening was located in Kingsford  on March 5, 2019, following a  public appeal.

Following inquiries by officers from Sydney City Police Area Command, just before 9.30pm (Tuesday 5 March 2019), police attended Strachan Lane, Kingsford, and located a vehicle in the street.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers located a suitcase containing the body of a 32-year-old woman. Inquiries by officers from Sydney City Police Area Command are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

Preethi Reddy, aged 32, attended a dental convention at St Leonards at the weekend, and last spoke with her family about 11am on Sunday (3 March 2019), saying she planned to head home after having a late breakfast in Sydney.

She was reported missing to Nepean Police Area Command later that night after she failed to arrive home. Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries and have established she was at a fast food restaurant on George Street near King Street about 2.15am on Sunday.

She was captured on CCTV inside the restaurant and appears to leave alone a short time later, walking south toward Market Street. She was depicted in the CCTV as wearing dark-green long-sleeved top, black pants, and black ballet flats, and carrying a taupe-coloured handbag.

It is believed Preethi drove her grey 2016-model Volkswagen Golf, with NSW registration DFP78P, to St Leonards on Friday (1 March 2019), but it has yet to be located.

Further inquiries have established that Preethi stayed at a hotel on Market Street, Sydney CBD, on Sunday with a man known to her.

Strike Force Carlwood investigators have since been notified that the man died in a head-on collision on the New England Highway, Willow Tree, about 10pm on Monday (5 February 2019).

Detectives from Oxley Police Area Command are investigation the circumstances surrounding the collision, which is believed to be a deliberate act.
