To provide a platform for the Australian talent around the globe, Colors organized a Talent Hunt in Australia for the second time in conjunction with the Elegant Creations.

The event was organized on May 29, 2016 at Parravilla function, Parramatta. More than 400 people witnessed the talented participants which came from cities around Australia including Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

There were twenty nine shortlisted participants who showcased their talent in front of judges including Mitu Bhowmick-Lange (Director of Mindblowing Films-Melbourne), Nicholas Brown (Actor, Singer and Songwriter) and Sheba Nandkeolyar (‎CEO MultiConnexions, National vice – Chair Australia India Business Council).

In addition to dancing and singing talents, the audience experienced a variety of other talents including a magic show and much more.

The contestant who stole hearts was a young Australian girl, Jasmine Khan who sang Alexandra Burke’s famous number ‘Hallelujah’.

“The uniqueness of this show is that it is absolutely free of charge for the audience and the participants which is not the case for any competitions which are organised within the Australian-Indian community,” said Dr Madhvi Mohindra, Co-founder of The Elegant Creations.

Winner Jasmine Khan will be flying to India to participate in the popular reality TV show- India’s Got Talent. The entire journey for Jasmine has been organised by The Elegant Creations and Colors.

“There are many more competitions and events which the Australian community can look forward to in the coming months,” added Dr Madhvi Mohindra, who also looks after marketing and advertising for Colors.
