Aish who migrated to Australia in 2001 and made Australia her second home, struggled hard and proved her skills as an actor, successful director and arts administrator .
She is first Indian-Australian artiste to be nominated for Best Actress for her performance at Short and Sweet, Sydney, the world’s biggest festivals of ten minute plays and was invited twice by Sydney Theatre Company to work in collaboration with them. She was also invited by Opera Australia to be a consultant for Lakme.
She is the only Indian – Australian Director whose play was invited to be performed in People’s Choice Award in Short and Sweet festival, Sydney in 2014.
Aishveryaa Nidhi is associated with Short+Sweet since 2009 and she is the first Festival Director for Short+Sweet Bollywood.
In 2015, for the very first time Short +Sweet International created a new dance festival with name Short+Sweet Bollywood thereby providing an opportunity to the Bollywood dancers and dance schools to show their creativity on stage.
