Beauty is everyone’s concern and Malti Kumar’s ‘Appearance Beauty Clinic’ has been keen to provide unique services to their clients by taking care of all beauty needs while serving as a peaceful, beautiful retreat.

Malti Kumar has been in beauty industry for last 21 years and ever since there is nothing which could stop her.

She moved to Australia from Chandigarh (India) after marriage in 2001 and was fortunate enough that only after few days of coming here; she started her own venture in Harris Park.

In 2003, they moved to Glenwood and started her beauty services there and now ‘Appearance Beauty Clinic’ has clients from all over Sydney including Milson point, Campbell town,  Pymble , Hornsby , Kellyville, Ponds  and even from Melbourne and Dubbo.

“Beauty industry has always fascinated me and I have always been keen to provide the best services to my clients. I was working as a beautician back on India, so  within few days of migrating to Australia,  after getting the necessary set up done, I resumed my  beauty services here,” said Malti

“I have been doing courses from time to time to keep pace with the new beauty techniques and that has helped me to retain a very loyal clientele. Moreover I am very flexible with my clients, if someone needs me, I am always there,” she added.

Alongside beauty services, Malti  Kumar  has tested her hands in event management and has been successfully organising Sakhi celebration  for the last four year.

“I am very social and even back in India used to organise many parties.  I was an active participant of ‘Sakhi Sangam’ for few years and then ‘Sakhi Sangam’ team approached me and asked me if I would like to continue doing  this event. My friend pushed me and both of us did our first  event  after renaming it as Sakhi Celebration event in 2014.

“It will be the 5th Sakhi Celebration event this year and the theme is ‘Bold and Beautiful’. Basically it is a fun filled event and  we try to add more fun by adding new games and twists to  it. So, Sakhi Celebration is a one stop shop for fun, games, dance, raffles, prizes, competitions, shopping, photo booths and a dance floor to get all your energy out.

“Any girl, irrespective of the age can join  the celebration  and we have something or other for every age group. There are plenty of prizes to win from, air ticket to India and many more surprises. Alongside we also have a prize for the oldest and the youngest Sakhi. More than 600 ladies  join the  celebration and it is getting bigger and bigger every year. There will be atleast 17 stalls  this year including  jewellery  , clothing , bags, mixed stuff and  astrology,” said Malti.

So girls, come along with your girlfriends, neighbours, sisters, mum, daughters  and enjoy a fun-filled evening  and go back packed with lots of memories to treasure.
