‘Australian Telangana Forum’ celebrates Telangana formation day

Australian Telangana Forum celebrated  the Telangana State Formation Day on  June 7 at Greystanes community Centre to mark the formation of India’s 29th State “Telangana”.


With over 500 participants, Greystanes community Centre, Sydney  echoed with Jai Telananga and all celebrated the Telangana formation day with great enthusiasm.

Event started with lighting of  lamp at Telangana Thalli portrait and after that  Telananga prayer  was offered. Two 2 minutes silence was observed to pay tribute to  all the Telangana martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Telananga formation.

ATF Founder members shared the ATF objectives and ATF active support to Telangana movement.

Councillor Gurdeep Singh from Hornsby council shared his happiness and stressed more contribution of Telangana to India and Telangana NRI’s to Australia.

Councillor Susai Benjamin from Blacktown city council and Dr Yadu Singh- Cardiologist congratulated ATF and all other Telanganites.

All interestingly watched video messages from Prof. Kodandaram -TJAC Chairman, T. Harish Rao-MLA Siddipet, Rasamai Balakishan-MLA Malakondur, Vinod Kumar Boianapally-MP Karim Nagar and D.P.Reddy -TDF President.

The messages stressed on contribution of  Telangana NRI’s to the development of Telananga in the areas of investments, technology transfer and sharing knowledge from overseas.

Vote of thanks were  payed to ATF members, other Telanganites and sponsors who contributed to work on collective initiative, venue arrangements, food arrangements, entertainment programs, other logistics and managing overall event to make it grand success.

Later, Telangana food was served to all the participants . All  ATF members are looking forward to see bright future of Telangana and ATF members also pledged to contribute to Telangana Development in India.
